1. Static cling “Breast-Map”®

a. Brown - Visual Exam - Normal Tissue
b. Red - Sensation Exam - Painful or Tender
c. Green - Normal Geography of Your Breasts
d. Blue - All Areas of Concern

Secure bedroom for lying down exam
C.
Large wall or door mirror for visual exam and
mapping breast structures.
(NOTE:
A full length door mirror is best, but the static cling “Breast-Map”®
may be cut into sections along the lines and adapted for use with smaller
mirrors.)
FIRST
Read
instruction booklet and determine the best dates to perform your Breast
Self Exam.
Schedule
your Breast Self Exam for 5 to 7 days after the first day of your menstral
flow. If you are postmenopausal, schedule your exams on the
same date each month. Birthdates are good!
SECOND
Prepare
bedroom by bringing in materials and securing your privacy. Make sure that
the room is a comfortable temperature.
THIRD
Press
your static cling “Breast-Map”® onto mirror at a comfortable level.
FOURTH
Disrobe
from the waist up.
