Dear Tresa,

I'm so sorry to hear your sister Judy has cancer again. This disease does not make any sense; taking some of us no matter how we fight it and then some of us luck out and make it another ten years or more after treatment without further incident, as in my case.

This spring is the third anniversary of my friend Judy's death from cancer that started in her breast. After a radical mastectomy she was free of cancer for only a short time when it returned in her lungs. None of the treatments helped her then. She was only 40.

I wish she had a chance to use your “Breast Mapping TM System. Maybe she would still be here and we would be spending time cruising around the Sacramento Mountains like we used to do.

Your invention for self breast examinations is a wonderful, easy, educational tool to use, and effective. I've learned so much about my body through “feeling around” and I'm confident in having a mammogram only every other year, which is due again. I'll let you know the results. And when my sister returns from her sea duty, I'm going to get her started on your system. I'm not sure she will use it on the ship, but I will offer it to her. She no longer has the attitude of “it won't happen to me”.

Please know you, Judy, and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and have my best wishes for fighting her cancer. I hope all turns out well. Too bad cancer equals suffering for all concerned, not only the patient.

Love and compassion from your friend,

Alice Higgins

Dear Tresa,

After reviewing your breast-mapping product and as a woman in my late 20’s, I believe this to be an invaluable tool for all women. It is easy to read, the information is clear and concise and allows for documentation that is easy to refer to in the future if and when there might be a potential suspicious area.

My only recommendation and/or suggestion is the translation of “Breast-Mapping” Systems into other languages, namely Spanish. As a former teacher for a non-profit organization that targets primarily Hispanic mothers, I became acutely aware of the lack of breast cancer awareness among this large population. If presentations to introduce “Breast-Mapping” Systems to these populations were given, you would be educating and thereby, preventing the advanced breast cancer diagnosis that you are so nobly trying to eliminate.

Please consider me an advocate of “Breast-Mapping” Systems and I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors with your invention.

To Whom It May Concern:

I recently began using your “Breast Mapping” product and am writing congratulate you on a fme product.

Although there is no history of breast cancer in my immediate family, I know several people who also had no family history and developed the disease. There must be a “first” and I plan to do all I can to avoid being that person. In the unhappy event that I am stricken with breast cancer, I know that early detection usually makes the difference between survival or death.

I was so impressed with the “Breast Mapping” kit, that I gave several as gifts to friends, who have also expressed their approval.

The “Breast Mapping” Kit is easy to understand and use, is discreet, stores easily and will serve as a wonderful communication tool to be used with my doctor during regular health examinations. The brochure included was packed full of detailed information regarding breast health, yet easy enough for the layperson to easily comprehend and apply.

Again, thank you for developing such a wonderful product in support of women everywhere!

In good health,
Glenda M. Wilder

DEAR TRESA,

I PURCHASED YOUR BREAST MAPPING SYSTEM IN APRIL OF 1997. SINCE THAT TIME, I DETECTED A LUMP IN MY BREAST AND STARTED THE ROUNDS OF DOCTORS AND SERIES OF MAMMOGRAMS. THE SYSTEM YOU DEVISED HAS DONE SO MUCH TO EASE MY MIND. I KNOW MY BREASTS SO MUCH MORE INTIMATELY THAN EVER
BEFORE.

YOUR SYSTEM HAS EDUCATED ME AND ALLOWS ME TO TAKE AN ACTIVE PART IN MY BREAST CARE. MY DOCTOR REALLY PAYS ATTENTION TO THE CHANGES I CHART ON THE MAP SO I KNOW THAT DOING THE BREAST CHECK ON A REGULAR BASIS IS IMPORTANT.

THE BOOK INCLUDED IN THE KIT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. I FEEL SO MUCH MORE PREPARED TO FACE WHATEVER MAY LIE AHEAD.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEVOTION.

SINCERELY,
SHARON K. WEAVER
